Here you will find the procedures and information concerning the standard beetle registry website
1) Sign in or register in the website
Start by registering or logging into the website. Just click on the “Sign In” tab. A window then appears asking to insert the e-mail address and password (if already registered) or the possibility of creating a new account. This is also where you can change your password if you have forgotten it. Once the account has been created and/or registered, you can access to your profile, in which you can insert a profile photo, fill in information, change your password or delete your account. Do not forget to click on the “save changes” button to save all modifications.
2) Add a vehicule in the registry
Any logged user can add a vehicle to the registry. To do this, click on the “Add Listing” button. You can then fill in all informations about the vehicle. Note that most categories are optional. We ask you to fill them in as much as possible. Once the form is completed, you can submit it by clicking on the “submit listing” button. Please note that your vehicle will not be directly published, but will have to be validated by the moderators (which may take some time). Once validated and published, you will still be able to modify vehicle informations.
3) Search a vehicule in the registry
The number of vehicles recorded by category (111, 112, 115, 116) is visible on the home page. On this same page are also presented the new vehicles added. To view the different beetles registered, just click on the “Listing” tab. You can then put different filters (color, country). to refine your search.
4) Edit / Report vehicle listing
You can edit information for a vehicle that you did not register yourself. Just go to the vehicle ad and click on the “claim listing” text. You can then write a request to the moderators justifying your reason for the change. If this request is accepted, you will obtain all modification rights on the vehicle. Please note that this request may take time due to the work of the moderators.
On the other hand, on the ad of the vehicle you can also report it by clicking on the text “Report Listing” if you judge that the ad does not respect the conditions of use of the site.
